Leith Community Energy Day

On 15th October 2011 we held a conference called “Leith Community Energy Day” at the Norton Park Centre on Albion Road. This was to raise interest about generating green energy locally, hear about exciting energy projects and learn how to save energy in your home. Speakers included:

Juliet Swann – Friends of the Earth Scotland.

Jane Campbell – Transition Edinburgh South (TES)

Jan Webb – Edinburgh University Heat & the City Project

Daniel Prince – a local solar case study

Stuart Hay & Pete Roche – Edinburgh Community Energy Co-op
